Smyrna is near and dear to my heart.
Situated just 10 miles Northwest of Atlanta proper but free of the city’s trademark congestion lies the suburb of Smyrna. More than 50,000 friendly Georgians call Smyrna home, and it’s easy to see why. A generally younger population makes great use of a rejuvenated downtown area, tons of park and public space, jogging and biking trails, and ever expanding industry and business opportunities.

If you want to be close to downtown Atlanta, the Airport, the Perimeter, Cumberland Mall or Cobb Galleria, but you want to have Cobb County Schools and Taxes, Smyrna is the place to live! It's located about 1 mile northwest of the Atlanta city limits and about 10 miles from downtown Atlanta. It's just west of the northern intersection of I-285 and I-75, which is the site of Cumberland, Cobb Galleria, and the future site of the Braves Stadium. Close, but not too close! Smyrna is also near Vinings, Marietta, and Sandy Springs.
